Adding plants to a new aquarium?
I just bought 2 plants for my aquarium 5 gallons … im about to start and issue TUIP knowif not I should do something for the plants before adding them .. I bought them from Walmart.
I suppose you mean plants live? Artificial plants all you have to do is run under water for a minute or two, then add them. live plants, plants must be thoroughly washed with hot running water. Go through the stems and make sure there are no snails, algae and obtain maximum out of them as possible. I heard that some people soak the plants to 1 part chlorine solution of 20 parts water for about 5 minutes, then soak in dechlorinated water for one hour, two hours, etc. But I'm paranoid get chlorine in my pool, so I did never tried – I would not accidentally kill all my fish. x_x So it depends if you want to use this method or not. =) Good luck! Your plan is good … But I would configure the new tank and filter, gravel, etc., and let it run for a few days. Which allows the water clear, stabilize the temperature, so you may need to set the new water heater, once the new tank looks good, things move from the reservoir in. How to get rid of snails in my freshwater aquarium? Serious answers only please?
I an aquarium of 55 gallons of fresh water. I suddenly had TONSS small snails that appear on every wall of the aquarium and the interior my .. i havent added anything since I bought it. I have 2 tons of plants and fish live. But suddenly began to appear. How do I get rid of them without harming my fish expensive?

Where can I find dwarf plecos or small algae eaters for an aquarium of 10 gallons of gasoline?
I live in Massachusetts, and I am ready to head to neighboring states to find a dwarf or small plecos algae eater for my tank of 100 gallons! Thank you!
I do not know not where I live in Australia, but I recommend an algae eater catfish Otocinclus one gallons to 10.
